Meet the Partners here at Icon Design & Development, LLC Chris Elfving as President of Operations for Icon Design & Development, LLC is responsible for oversight and management of all site development and construction operations from design-build and estimating through project closeout, operational functions including policies, procedures, and staff assignments to projects. Most importantly, Chris is responsible for leading the Icon team to develop and maintain relationships with clients, designer / architect, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Having worked for more than thirty years in the construction industry throughout Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, and Nevada on diverse projects. Chris brings extensive knowledge of construction and site development to our projects. His expertise includes commercial buildings, apartments, multi-family and single family housing, tenant interiors and mechanical construction. After having completing an undergraduate degree and Masters of Business Administration courses at the University of Oregon, Eugene campus, Shon took his first Construction Management position with Rodgers International. This position would be his introduction to overseas project management with onsite responsibilities in Nagoya and Tokyo Japan. Shon's construction industry experience in Asia and Middle East has given him vast exposure to differing management methodologies and open-mindedness to finding the best solution for the owner and equity holders. Shon then took his experience managing commercial project overseas to the residential home market overseeing the construction of multi phase residential planned developments domestically. To date Shon has directly overseen the completion of more than 2000 homes. As a member of Icon Design & Development, LLC's Management Team Shon has taken the director level responsibilities of overseeing the initiatives of Project Management, Field Operations, Selecting Project Groups, Safety and Purchasing Departments management. Shon is responsible for implementing operational plans that meet the strategic initiatives of the organization. He has ensured delivery of high quality services and solutions to our customers. Shon's experience has become invaluable in the development of programs to support the companies business clients and streamlining processes to support their projects. Tim has been providing the highest quality Architectural plans to the construction industry for nearly 30 years and has designed projects in all 50 States, Canada, Mexico, China, South Korea, Japan, Caribbean, Fiji, and Europe. These designs always take advantage of the natural characteristics of the individual property, such as views, lot constraints, or specific architectural requests. He has been involved with over 7,500 design projects with a construction value of over 1.5 billion dollars. Tim has been a Professional Building Designer member with the local and national chapters of the American Institute of Building Design (A.I.B.D.) for nearly 30 years. All of his designs are done with the latest computer aided design (CAD) technology. Having been involved with construction early in his career starting as a framer, Tim has expertise in design, engineering, and construction. This will give our clients the assurance that their new building will be designed with the knowledge of the latest construction materials, codes, and methods while also providing a well “thought out” traffic pattern proportionate with each floor plan. Tim has expertise in contemporary, craftsman, traditional, and log building designs. He has several "Award Winning Plans" that have been showcased in many different Plan Magazines through out the country such as: Better Homes and Garden, House Beautiful, Builder, Home Styles, America’s Best Selling Home Plans, Countrypolitan Home Plans, etc. Tim specializes in high density/multi-family product lines and prides himself in personalized customer service that always places the clients wants/needs first and last. He loves working together with clients to form their thoughts and ideas into a workable set of construction documents that will also have a pleasing exterior style. Tim works hard to keep tabs on budget restraints along with the structural aspects and building code requirements. His number one goal is to always have our clients leave us with excited anticipation of their completed architectural plans and looking forward to their project ahead.
